That list was leaked earlier, a high ranking MLB official says there are errors in that list. I guess we will find out in about 20 minutes.

Bags could be on there. Just so long as I dont see Biggio's name on the final list all will be good (100% confident he is not on there).


Watching ESPN right now. They are talking about a few years ago MLB did a random test and 100 athletes failed. How did he only come up with 80 names including the past?

I'm not saying he didn't use anything but it's not like it's impossible to build muscle w/ the help of legal supplements and top strength coaches.

Here is my main problem with steroids.

If you're going to ban Pete Rose for life for betting on baseball, thereby jeopardizing the outcome of games and "the sanctity of the sport", you have to at least consider banning all the steroid users for the same reason. By taking performance enhancers, they are effectively changing the outcomes of games, and breaking records using artificial means.

So, if they're going to allow steroid users to play and be in the Hall of Fame, they should let Pete Rose be in the Hall of Fame. If they're going to stand by their lifetime ban of Pete Rose, they need to think long and hard about what they're going to do with performance enhancing drug abusers.

And let's not forget, anabolic steroids aren't just against the rules of major league baseball, they are ILLEGAL. Every player who has used them has knowingly broken the law. I'm not saying I've never knowingly broken the law, I'm just saying this goes far beyond whether Bonds broke the home run record while juicing.

This proves nothing. I won't say he didn't use steroids but a before and after shot of a guy proves nothing. Using the same logic to compare my picture from high school in 2002 (6feet,185lbs) and my picture now 6'1",255lbs you'd think I was using roids. It's amazing what TRAINING alone can do.

I'm not saying Bagwell definitely did not use steroids, but his arms in the picture on the left aren't exactly small.

Keep in mind professional athletes are under the guidence of the best trainers and nutrionists in the world. They work their asses in the offseason. The season doesn't end for these guys after they play their 82 games. The season is 365 days a year, and the great ones work hard all 365 days. Hard work and getting help from the types of trainers they have around them and its really not shocking to watch a guy grow like Bagwell did.

I'm not trying to say he didn't use steroids, but it's entirely possible to see these types of results with hard work.
