Anyone tried Shiner Black Lager?
I've been having a real hard time finding this beer. Luckily a friend had some and let me have one. Holy **** Probably one of the best beers i've ever had. It was a anniversary brew they put out in 06. If you like shiner beers or if you just like dark beers you should definitely try it. And if you are able to find it give me a heads up cause i've looked in a ton of stores and i cant find it. One liquor store said supposedly its back ordered for weeks, i dont know how true that is. Well enjoy

Thanks for reminding me. I can get my beer man to order it for me unless it's of great demand and short supply like the Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus when it first came out. What part of Houston are you in? I'll chime you in when I get it in.

Shiner Black is by far the best beer I've had. It wasn't too hard to find until recently. The specs I went to said they have a 40 case backorder! Just had the Shiner Amber 98 special edition, and its not too bad either.

I'm on the east side about 10 minutes from downtown. If anyone finds some let me know. ima try some stores after work tomorrow.
And the ONLY GOOD mexican beer is Negra Modelo. Its by far the best "Mexican" beer. Dos Equis Lager is good too. And Bohemia is good. Dont get me wrong I'll drink Corona, only if its free or there is nothing else to drink.
It seems i like dark beers
On a side note, if you ever come across Sam Adams Winter Lager, try it! Its a really nice beer. Only available during winter obviously

Probably because it hasnt hit the south area yet. The Budweiser guy gave us 4 6 pack of it to try out and wanted a comment compared to Miller's Chill. It tasted a whole lot better, we ordered 4 cases. It never came and kept on being on back order because everybody else bought it up and Budweiser did not imagine the demand for that type of beer so quick.
