Default So I just heard 3 sets of 4 gun shots

that sounded about maybe 40-50 yards from apartment. I heard some yelling in between. I was dressed up and was about to walk out the when I heard the pistols pop.

The world we live in today is fucked up.

.........It just sounded like someone tried to open my door. My cat ran upstairs to me. I freaking out and don't have a gun. I'm about to call the cops.

I'm not that type of guy. I'm not stupid. I called the cops about 4 minutes go.

When I mentioned about not having a gun, I meant that I have no protection. I have always been against them...

How did it turn out?

I can understand peoples desires to not own a firearm. But sadly we live in a world where one could almost be deemed a necessity by/for some people.

Thanks for the concern, fellas. I ended up leaving after waiting for about 20 min. for the cops to show up. My lease ends this month and am moving to a house I just bought in a better part of town. I am going to Academy to buy shotgun, though.

That was a wake up call for me. It really freaked me out.

thanks for listening and being there for me.

i was actually going to suggest you getting a shotgun, but didn't because you mentioned you didn't believe in guns.

glad you finally saw the light on the gun issue.....it's just a shame that it took you living through something like this to turn the tide. after all, innocent people would be a LOT worse off if guns were banned, because then only criminals would have guns.

glad everything is ok....merry christmas!

Shotguns are the best in the world for home defense.

Guns are tools... treat it with the respect that it's due (it can kill)... keep it safe from children, etc... and practice with it.

You will be fine... Hope your Christmas gets better for you!!!
