i used to know an older fella that worked for Exxon @ baytown... He was a bad MF'er... I was working with him one day at the refinery and he got called in by the boss b/c NASA was short on some welders... He's certified to weld a whole bunch of exotic metals.... I'll call up an old buddy and see if i can get his number tomorrow.

Try some chassis shops like Specialty Metal Craft, Stevens Race Cars, or Robert Fulmer.

There are a few places in Houston that I've used for work before to weld some titanium flanged probes for pipelines. I can get the numbers and names by next Wednesday (I wont be in the office till then) if you want. The welding was perfect and they were very thorough and fast.

I'm pretty sure your paying some money. Titanium has to be welded in a room purged of oxygen and filled with Argon gas.
