DTC's for an 05 Chevy Avalanchev 5.3l
Hey guys I was looking at my Dad's truck and we found some DTC's on his HPP3. The first one is a P0101 which looks like a dirty maf (that can be fixed easy) but the other two are B codes that I've never seen b4. THe first one is a B0229 and the second one is a B3606. Does anyone know what these are and what needs to be done about 'em? THanks peepl

Theres other forums on this site besides just the Texas Forum....
https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/209783-need-lookup-ses-code-look-here.html
B codes are body codes, usually deal with alarms, stereo, heat/ac, etc

Well I already did a search for these codes and didn't really find any information on them either here or on those sites that everyone posts up so I decided to post here and see if anyone has had any dealings with these particular codes.

I didnt mean to come across as a dick about it, I just thought you didnt check those forums out yet.
But yes, they are body codes, for some reason they are just in there. Theres really no need for concern if they dont light up a warning light (ABS, seat belt, check gauges, etc. lights). I dont even think the dealer will do anything about them unless they are causing something to malfunction.
If you are wondering, I found a site with them listed:

Well I guess the only thing that prolly lit up the check engine was the P0101 so I'll clean off the MAF and see if it goes away. For some reason the B0229 is abundant all over the place, but I can't find anysite that actually tells what it is. O well if the light goes off it doesn't really matter.

i looked them up in my ALLDATA software. i did an 05 avalanche 1500 4x2 5.3L, non flex fuel (dunno if any of that matters as far as these particular electrical issues are concerned.)
B0229 is 'recirculate position feedback circuit range/performance - HVAC Control Module'
B3606 is 'adjustable foot pedal position sensor circuit - driver seat module'
if that truck is an 05, i assume its still under warranty. if there is a ticking noise coming from the dash and/or issues with controling the HVAC system, there is a TSB about the B0229. if your adjustable pedals arent working properly, there is a TSB about the B3606
