Default Question about LS6 intake

when installing a LS6 intake, heard it was needed to grind the valley cover bolts down to shorten them. Is this true? Thanks

Thats for the Fast! But instead of grinding you just used the hardware. Answer is no.

No grinding, but if it didn't have one on it before you will need to change the coolant line out for the LS6 style which is two block offs for the rears and one cross over for the front as the LS6 is flat on the bottom so there is no room for the coolant line to run underneath etc... No bolt issues with the swap.
