Netflix/Blockbuster Online?
Anyone use either service? I signed up for both but i will cancel the one that i dont like.
I like blockbuster online because you can take the movies back to the stores. They supposedly offer over 300 blu ray movies which is a plus for me. The plan i got lets you get two movies at a time, up to 3 in store exchanges a month (after that its 1.99 for an instore exchange) for 16.99. And you get a free game rental a month.
Netflix claims to have over 500 blu ray movies, PLUS they carry over 300 HD DVD movies. I dont have an HD player yet but i might get one. Their plan lets you get 3 movies at a time for 16.99. And in general they claim to have more movies. But you cant exchange them in any store obviuosly.
So which one do you use? Any complaints?

Block buster ***........u can get up to 3 movies at a time, then go swap them out for movies at the store. Then as soon as you bring the movies back from online, they automatically ship the next 3 on your list. Its like this neverending cycle for 19 bucks a month. IT only takes a few days to get your movies from online too.

I used to have netflix then got blockbuster and will never go back! Netflix is good but the perks of going to a BB store is awesome! Plus if your late getting them back, most of the stores dont charge you late fees. The selections are pretty close, just more of the no name titles through netflix. And just wait for BB to get some more Bluray, they catch up. Oh and the game rental is nice for BB as well.

I've done Netflix and now BB. I'm hooked on the ability to take the movies back to a store. We've gotten around the "long wait" on new releases this way.
Plus every so often the send free movie rental coupons to your email so you get yet another movie to watch.

So thats 3 netflix 4 blockbuster. I placed movies in my queue for both sites saturday so i will see which movie comes in first. Then i will send them off at the same time, whoever gets them to me quicker wins!
The only other thing that is leaning me towards netflix is that blockbuster is not going to carry HD movies. They signed a deal with blu ray. That may change in the future but as for now they are not going to carry them.
DFWgrant what is BD? I'm guessing you meant BR?
