Didnt want to hijack the other thread, but did you ask the guy or notice if he had to cut into his hood? I did a little search about that and it seems like everybody's saying it wont clear a stock hood.

He may have used a k-member to lower the engine position.

He did have some sort of kit that lowered the engine. When the hood was down, it was just another WS6 in the parking lot. Didnt cut anything to make it fit. Thats why I was so impressed with it, hadnt seen it on an f-body before. He did say that nobody here in Houston could tune it, had to sent off to Tennessee or something.

He was a cool guy. Hed tell ya all about it.

Why couldn't it be tuned locally? I've had two Magna equipped cars here tuned just fine at two different shops. Both put down ~525-550 rwhp.

I guess it was the combination of SD tune and forced induction that people where having trouble with. The first time I got it tuned we started to have issues with it leaning out after 5k ,but was told the tune was ready to go and as long as I kept it below that rpm I would be fine untill I fixed the issue. Even after fixing the problem once I touched boost the car would fall flat on its face and felt slower than stock. Later I tried another person with the same results so now I was broke and frustrated. After calling Ed and explaining he said if I could get the car to him he would get it going, so 2000 miles later and a few min. of terrorizing the streets of Decatur In. the car finally felt like it should.I'm sure I could have stuck with it here and eventually got it going but after 3 months of starring at it in the garage I was ready to be done with it.

Yes, but I plan on getting some headers and more tunning soon to add a little to it
and later, forged motor, heads, and cam + more boost......this crap is addicting.
