Default My fbody collection

WELL ever since i was a young beaner....ive always been into fbodys....so i started buying them....and well now im hook...i currently own 4 fbodys and a i had a trailblazer ss which i just recently sold yesterday....well heres the story line behind the collection so far

back in the summer of 99' i started cutting peoples grasses and doing yard work to save cash to purchase a car....so then after like 3 months of losing like 20 ponds if not more in sweat and having the taste of grass in my mouth, and not to mention going from like sinbad to wesly snipes....i got enough cash to buy the car i had my eyes on....it was a 1972 camaro ss....had a 350/350 combo in it when i bought it....shorty after i bought it...i was racing on the highway and the oil pump went out...and boom!!!
best time on it when i first bought it was a 13.9 1/4

the car used to be blue with a black vinyl top....i primerd it since the paint was faded hardcore....also me being young and dumb....the car had working facotry a/c and i ripped it out....cause it was supposedly gonna be my racecar....what a stoopid newb

heres a few pics

k then after going through a few motors and trannys.....and a few fallen off wheels....i went ahead and decided to buy another fbody....a 71 formula that a friend was selling....he has taken the whole front subframe off...cleaned it up...added all new polyurethane bushings to everywhere...freshend the motor with new forged pistons and a nice lumpy hydraulic roller cam.....and then decided to sell it.... motor is a 400 pontiac big block, tranny is a 350th with a 3000 stall...so i bought it thinking i could spend some lil cash and use it as a DD so i could start fixing the body on my 72 camaro.....well i bought the firebird and then not even a month after....once i already had done a tune up...boughten new mufflers...added a tranny cooler and some other stuff....i guy came to my work and had a nice car that caught my eye

I'm feeling it. My addiction started 30 years about when I was 10. I'm on my third F-body as well.

Like my name says, I'm on my 6THZ28! Got my first one when I was 16, a 350 HO tpi blue metallic 25th anniv, and then moved on to LT1's and graduated to LS1's!

....so just out of no where i asked him if he would sell it,and he said he had been thinking about it,he said the car wasted to much gas.....so he just wanted to get rid of it for what he owed at the bank...so i gave him what he owed and boom! i had a new DD...this is the car....its a 1999 camaro ss,when i bought the car it was stock, just had a flowmaster and a lid

i since cammed it....put a underdrive pulley,ls6 intake and exhaust.....the car had been completely repainted.....and has gone 12.2 on motor

Nice collection! I really dig the 71 Formy. My dad is restoring his '72 Firebird that he got new for a graduation gift. I've always had a thing for early 2nd gens. I'm still on my 1st one, but we have 3 in the family.
