bent k-member and/or structural damage
does anyone know of a good collision shop that could assess my 97 camaro ss in the dfw area? the reason i am asking is i bought this car from gentleman and he said he hit a curb. he said that he only had to replace the spindle but i think something else is wrong. the front wheel is pushed back toward the rear of the car and it looks like the k-member has slid back about an inch at the rear most bolt on the passenger side. the rest of the bolts seem to be normal and that makes me think that the frame is pushed upward because the car leans to that side and the top two bolts show no signs of the k-member sliding. i would like someone to disassemble the k-member and check for structural damage although i did not see any. i would like to know of a good shop.
