Last Chance (Z28 FS in extreme Eastern NM)
I'm stationed @ Cannon AFB in eastern NM and have to sell my toy. I'm getting ready to be reassigned.
2001 Z28 LS1
- 60,000 miles
- Black Exterior
- Tan leather Interior
- Power seat/windows and locks
- 6-Speed
- T-Tops
- Monsoon CD Player w/ 12 Disc Changer
- Driveline Solutions 9" rear w/ Moser housing, Strange S-Series Case, Moser 31 Spline Axles, Detroit TrueTrac Posi and 4.11 ratio.
- UMI Tubular Polyurethane/Rod End Lower Control Arms.
- UMI Tubular Polyurethane/Rod End Panhard Rod.
- BMR Weld In Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets
- BMR Weld In Sub-frame Connectors
- Spohn Adjustable Body Mount Torque Arm
- DMH 3" Electric exhaust Cutout
- Pacesetter Coated Long tube headers w/ A.I.R. block off plates
- 3" Pacesetter offroad Y-pipe
- Hooker 3" Catback with aftermarket single tips.
- PST 3.5” Aluminum Driveshaft 1350 series U-joints. (rated to 1200 HP)
- RAM Powergrip HD clutch (rated to 650 HP)
- RAM Billet Flywheel
- New '01+ GM Clutch Slave Cylinder
- Pro 5.0 Shifter
- Raptor (amber color) adjustable Shift Light
- SLP Line Lock
- Harlan 2-Step (stutter box)
- Manual Fan Override. On a 3 position toggle, Hi/Lo and off. PCM runs fans when off.
- Billet Grille with '69 Chevelle Bowtie
- Polished Stainless Z28 badges
- Ported Throttle Body with bump stop modification
- Throttle Body Coolant Bypass
- 160* Hypertech Thermostat
- ASP Under drive Pulley
- MTI Carbon Fiber Lid
- Fast Toys Ram Air
- Texas Speed Performance Ported LS6 Oil Pump
- Texas Speed Performance MS4 Cam
- PRC Dual Spring Kit
- Texas Speed Performance 7.4" Hardened Push Rods
- NGK TR55 Plugs
- Texas Speed Performance Mail Order Tune for the cam
- New O2's sensors
- Aluminum Pedals (Very nice, not the ricer ones from AutoZone).
- Hawk HPS brake pads and Duralast Rotors at all four corners. If you don't know the Duralast rotors are the cost effective stock replacements that don't have a warping issue like the GM parts.
- All modifications have less than 5,000 miles.
- The rear end and cam have less than 2,000 miles.
The car has NEVER been sprayed. I know my for sale thread in the classifieds has nitrous items, I never got to install them.
The only drawback is that the tranny needs gone through. Needless to say I'd highly encourage trailering it. I have driven it and the tranny seems to be fine when just driving it, but the issues arise when it gets beat on.
I have been asking $12,500, but given the tranny issue I'll let it go for $11,000 OBO. I can email pics to serious individuals. Please don't tire kick, I've had all of that I can take.

Twice it has hung in fourth gear, only after slowing way down and working the clutch a bit would it come out. After the second time, it was being a PITA to get into gear. After a little easy driving it started working fine again.
My only remaining option given my situation is to trade it in, and I sure as hell don't want to do that. They're going to low ball the **** out of me. I'll make someone a hell of a deal on this car. My price is significantly less than the money invested in the mods alone.

Bump for the evening folks. Any/all reasonable offers will be considered. Car is runs super strong, looks good and is in overall great condition. The tranny is the only issue.
There are more pics available. These were taken after a weekend in the garage with a buffer. The crap in the cracks is just polish that hadn't been removed yet.

Reduced again...
$9100... I really need to sell the car. I'm having trouble finding dealers that will even take it as trade because of tranny issue and the fact that it's heavily modified.
