FS: Philips 55" HDTV $300.00
I have a Phillips 55" HDTV, the TV itself is in good condition, the clear lense on the outside of the tv has a crack at the bottom right corner, this panel is cheap to replace, just havent dont it yet. You cant see the crack unless the tv is off. It wasnt like this before but my son did it somehow. The only other problem with it is that the picture has a curve at the bottom and in the corners alittle, its not a huge curve at all and I never even notice it. The colors line up and everything and it still has a great picture. The Convergance chip is the problem and it needs probably a couple resistors. Will fix and sell but for now just wanted to see if anyone wanted to buy it as is before I fix it and make a bigger profit. I can also tell you the part numbers. The IC or Convergance chip cost only about $30 and the protective cover doesnt really need to be replaced. Thanks and will get pictures soon. Silver in color and does 1080i. I use my 360 on this tv.

i have someone coming to look at it. I found out its not the IC that is bad but only a resistor that went bad. Pretty easy fix if you know how to find a bad resistor. I was told a convergance will cause the color to not line up if its bad but colors do align and the repair shop told me it was a resistor. If you want to come look at it give me a call anytime @ 972 679 5322 Mike and if I dont answer leave a message
