Thanks man, Yeah, I bought a 2000 z28 for a project car, so we will see what happens.. Probably going to put it on ebay in a few weeks if I don't sell it local.

Its just the anniversary year, not the anniversary edition thats why its not white and orange.

Pretty nice car, just wondering why the airbox says Z28/SS instead of Camaro SS? I just bought a 96 SS and it says Z28/SS but it is a Z28/SS and in 97 they are just SS's.

Thats an option.. The White/Orange also come with houndstooth interior or whatever that white/grey interior is. This is definetly a 30th SS.

Thanks for clearing that up. When someone labels it as anniversary, I automatically think of the anniversary edition. So, someone could advertise a 1997 v6 as "30th anniversary"? LOL!

Anyways, good luck with the sale vcious.

Yeah yours is def. a 30th SS, it just isn't the 30th Anniversary Edition SS where only a limited number were made. Yours is a real 97 SS though, I'm just wondering if the airbox has been changed for some reason.

I have no clue. I really don't know a bunch about the LT1 Cars, I just know the LT1 SS's are about as rare as seeing an exotic on the street.

My friends 97 SS says z28/ss on the airbox, they all came like that.

Yep don't see too many. I know there were only 2410 made in 96. There were more in 97, but idk the actual numbers, way less than LS1 SS's though.

Back to the topic though, nice car.

Ok, wasn't sure. I just knew mine does and I thought maybe the 97's had just SS since they dropped the Z28 in 97.

From what I've read, there were only 301 30th Anniversary Camaro SS's with 6 speeds and T-Tops. Pretty rare...
