while i dont have extensive research in this field. My guess is, if it fired up one time the exhuast would have nowhere to go and with that amount of pressure, something is happening.

An engine is a positive-displacement pump. The exhaust has to go somewhere - either by blowing off your exhaust 9if you actually got it started) or out the intake depending on you cam overlap. Chances are you'll spin it on the starter a couple of times, build up the pressure in the exhaust pipes, and then the engine will just lock up temporarily.
