Default Loud banging from rear end

Alright a few nights ago I get in my car put it in drive and it jerks and makes a really loud banging or clanking noise. I put it in reverse thinking I ran over something it does the same. Put it in drive and no more noise all night. Next morning same loud noise. Figured it might be my rear going out so I had some diff fluid added and hoped it would fix it self lol. Well I was good for a few days then I slightly get on the car today and **** the noise came back. I crawled under the car didn't really see anything wrong, took it for another drive to see exactly where the noise is coming from. It sounds like its coming from my back passenger side, it is really bad when I am turning from a stop. If that wasnt enough to **** me off the abs inop light cuts on while I was driving. So was wondering if anybody else has this happen or what it could be ? Or maybe even a good shop to take it to in the Killeen/Cove area. Any help is appreciated.

Pull the diff cover and inspect it. Sounds like you lost something inside.

Was hoping it wasnt that, but will check it out. Thanks for the suggestions, time to retire this car from daily driving or sell it.

99 Camaro z28, its almost got 66,666 miles on it. Got a few mods nothing too major though. Headers, exhaust, cut out, k&n intake, Upgraded transmission with a 2800 stall and shift kit. Appearance wise its custom painted burnt orange (fusion orange) with a slight pearl, visage lip kit and ram air hood, ss hood, and stock hood, the ram air is on it right now. 19 inch Ruff racing wheels. Jvc deck with memphis amp and two 12 inch kicker comps. Might be forget some things but thats pretty much it.

definetly sounds like you have midgets living in your rear wheel well.

might just want to put the rear end in the air, take off the back pass wheel and see if the caliper bracket is tight and if you can pull the hub in and out any more than a few milimeters.

Check your torque arm at the front. I had the same problem, and it was my torque arm.

do you have wheel spacers?

if so make sure all ur lug nuts are tight and re torque them every other week.

this same **** happened to me until i notice that i was missing a wheel stud and a lug nut which caused LOUD thumpin noise in the back part of the car while driving bcuz wheel was only on 3 wheel studs
