Default WTB: Catback In Houston Area..

Gonna be in La Porte this weekend. Was wondering if anyone had a used catback they have just laying around the garage. I know some of ya'll have went to true duals and have something laying around the house . Yeah.. You guy's know who you are. Don't want my pieced up Flowmaster. Looking for something like a Magnaflow or a Borla. Let me know whats up.

I'm surprised nobody has an unwanted catback laying around the house/garage. I'm getting tired of this weak *** Flowmaster. If anything, I might just get the muffler replaced. Anyone ever been to Deer Park Muffler?

I wouldn't mind having the new 4-tip Magnaflow catback. But it really doesn't bother me. Anything is practically better then what I have at the moment, lol. One of the exhaust tips is hanging lower then the other.

So.. You can get it new at a used price, huh?

FWIW, I had a LT1 Borla on my 98 SS, so they fit fine. I think you just have to take it to a good shop, because the first place I took it to said they couldn't install it....it was out in Tomball, I think that guy was confused because it wasn't a truck, lol.

Yeah. If anything, I'll take my car to Deer Park Muffler. I've seen a couple of pictures here on ls1tech of exhaust that has been done there. Their work looks pretty good..

I'll be back in Deer Park next weekend. I wanna move up there pretty soon so I gotta go and look for an apartment and a job.

Anyone else have a catback they are wanting to get rid of?

If not, looks like I'm gonna have myself a Borla. That's if regorih383 still has it..

The only thing different for LT1 catbacks is the driver's side hanger. You might be able to rig it up yourself.
I went to Lonestar Muffler because I had no band clamps for my LT1 Borla on my T/A. So I had them weld up the Borla and fab up that driver's side hanger.

Peace,
Craig.

Anyone got something I can take off their hands for a pretyy good price?

I recently just got a speeding ticket and I'm still paying on another one so I'm kinda set on a budget here. Let me know what you have and also how much you want for whatever you got and I'll let you know something..

Or if anyone has a set of nice exhaust tips in the area, that will also be pretty good. I would like some Corsa clones or something similar. Let me know whats up.
