I just got a ticket for going 71 in a 45. Do you guys Know about how much this is going to cost me?

Depends on where you got it. Where I am it would come out to around 275-300. Not quite sure however since I had my last ticket dismissed a few months back

wow... nice ticket man...

Saw a bitch get a ticket in a school zone this morning, I was going 30 and she flew past me about 55-60....

Cycle cop busted her ***....

It's usually around $120 for initially going past the speed limit and either $2 or $5 for each mile after that. If you are going more than 30 mph past the posted speed limit I dont think they will even allow you the option to take defensitive driving.

(dont quote me, just from remembering all the tickets I've gotten before.)

Sorry if this is slightly off topic...

I thought if you went more then 20 miles over the speed limit don't you get a one way ticket to jail and isn't that also a felony class speeding violation?

^^^ no thats incorrect, a police officer CAN NOT arrest you no matter how fast you are going, but they can arrest you for wreckless driving, drag racing or any other driving infraction

Wouldnt they be able to say driving 20 mph over the speed limit is wreckless driving?

^^yes but they can give you wreckless driving for switching lanes without using a signal too. but eya I forgot to add that part, I got a 78 in a 35 and drag racing and I was told I was pretty lucky when I was 17...I really was because I might of been
