finally guys
ok well i finally put the motor and tranny in from the top, after breaking a bolt in the block to getting a new block to putting everything on to finally putting it into the car, now i need all the nick nacks and hopefully next friday ill be able to crank it.. well thnks guys for the advice, help,and suggestions..

Did you install it with the heads on the block? I heard it can only be done from the top if the heads are off of it.
I was thinking of dropping the k-member so I can assemble everything nice and comfortable while it is off the car. BTW Congarts on getting it put together, hope to see ya around town.

aww man i had to wait a whole freakin year man to get all the parts and everything it was no joke.. but yeah now all i have to do is put all the lil stuff lik trans lines, ac condenser, headers and so forth.

The first time I had a shop install mine from the bottom, just the long block and tranny. Im getting ready to remove the shortblock with the tranny from the top. My tranny is a T-5 so it shouldnt get in the way too much.
So, you guys have done it from the top with the heads ON?
Thats the only part that worries me b/c getting to the bolts on my Gen 1 sbc can get pretty tight back there.
