Default "All Mad!" 69 Camaro

I have been building a 69 Camaro in my spare time for my Grandfather. I figured I would share my progress with yall now that I got some paint on the cab. I painted a few of the parts a while back and will post pics of them as well. All that is left to be worked on and sprayed is the Hood, Trunk, Lower valance, Spoiler, and Doors. I am getting pretty excited as I am nearing completion.

Here are a few Before and pics right before and after I disassembled the car.

Here are some shots of the car right after I finished blocking it. I wet the car to look for any imperfections, since the car was going to be painted black.

That would be incorrect for the year, as black cars kept the gloss black back there. They also had argent (silver) grilles.

Do you work at a body shop? How much to prep/paint another 1st gen vert?

Lol yea I work at carmax. I work in the prep/paint department, that is where I learned how to paint but have never painted a whole car. The only kind of work that I know how or have the tools to do is cosmetic only ( no rust or sectioning panels). As soon as I finish this car I will be ready to take on another project.

Definately not the color to learn on. Shows all bad body work and dust and trash in the paint real bad. White is very forgiving. Ever wonder why my car is white, lol.

White still doesn't forgive me!

Paint job looks great man, you could easily make some good side money or go work for a larger paint shop.
