XplicitPerformance, thanks and you're right. I'm extremely meticulous about my things, especially my vehicles. The truck has never been offroad or has seen mud. It's been on a couple of road trips to see family, the rest/majority of the miles have been to and from work (40 mile round trip). I thought about a new GMC Duramax, but I'm still undecided. If I end up getting another diesel, then I'll have to buy a beater/ecomomy car because I'm spending $300+ a month on fuel right now.

Strini SS, yep, you're right about that. It's one of the reasons why I'm selling the truck.

Deech, I hate to let it go too, but it's probably for the best. In my opinion, the truck is set. About the only thing it could use is a good alarm. No need for a Tahoe, but thanks. I hope it sells and it'll be a sad day when it does.

_Zac, yes, and before this go any further, let's keep the negative comments out of this thread. $28k alone just for the truck, per Kelly Blue Book. Over $16k in modifications/extras, not including tax, freight, or labor/installation. I'd imagine with the value of the truck, parts, and labor, we're looking at $50,000.

XplicitPerformance, I doubt I'll part it, but I'll keep you in mind if I ever do so.

Where's the negative comments? I was just trying to clarify it for myself seeing people don't usually pay much more, or any more at all for a modified vehicle. (Unless that person is very pleased with that particular vehicle and feels the price is justified.)

If I used the same math to sell my cobra I'd be asking 45k for it. lol Like I said I was just confused, but it's your truck and you can ask what you think is right for it.

like many people have stated before....a vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay for it....

if he gets 40 its worth 40...if he doesnt than he doesnt. GL on the sale as I am sure you will get somewhere near that as I have seen the truck up close and know its well worth somewhere in the area of the asking price.

_Zac, I never stated you posted anything negative, I just did want you to start because it would encourage others to do the same. You knew what was posted, there was no need to question/second guess it.

I don't expect to have an over night sale. I am in no hurry either. The right person will come along and feel that the price is right. I say that because I'm sure there are plenty of people out there looking for a truck similiar to mine that doesn't have to put all the hard labor and money into making it look the way it does. Again, just in parts alone, plus the value of the truck, we're already at $44,000. It would be an easy $50k if you factored labor into it.

XplicitPerformance, thanks for the backup. I really hope this thread doesn't go down south because of what I have listed. I mean...it is my truck, it is my money, and I did put all the hard work into it making what it is now.

This is just an alternative for someone who doesn't want to spend $40k on a new truck, then the additional $15k+ for parts, then all the labor it's going to cost to put all those parts on.

I'm suprised to see you selling your truck, I swear it was just last week you were looking into vanity plates for it. Nice truck, good luck on the sale.

91Z28, I was. My current personalized plates expired at the end of March and I had yet to renew them. So I had no choice to renew them. Plus I wanted to get something different since the current one was a hit or a miss.

I don't, but the bank does.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. The audio/video system alone I have over 50 hours of work in it. I sound deadended the back wall, floor, inner and outer door skins, etc. I did a 1/0 awg. gauge distributed to (2) 4 awg. wire for the amps, 12 awg. for the subs, 14 awg. for the components and coaxles. It has a backup camera which is one of my favorite mods besides the electric steps. The list goes on and on. Like I said, I don't feel the truck needs anything else besides a good alarm with auto start. That's about the only other thing that I would do to it.

Just a FYI, if you were to put a built tranny and converter in the truck, loaded level 6 from the programmer that it has, you'll see high 12s all day long. If I were to guess as the way it sits on level 4, I would say it's in the range of a high 13.
