Default digital dial indicator

Anyone have one or use one? I was wondering how accurate they are. My eyes are not the best. Was thinking about picking one up.

i would just get a regular dial indicator. if your eyes are bad, get one with a red face and a white needle

I say go for it. I used a dial indicator for a long time and was given a digital on a while back. I haven't had it calibrated but it's as accurate as i need it to be. It's much easier to read at a glance compared to a dial or vernier type.
