low profile 2 post lift does anybody have this?
Dannmar MaxJax ™ Portable Two Post Lifting System
here is a link from a website that sells it, im looking into getting a lift for my garage kinda tired of the jack and jack stands. i need something that is under 9 feet so im limited on selection.

it looks like a nice piece and very simple says it can support 6,000 pounds and is priced around my budget.

im planning on this one when i finish my shop. along with a 4 post lift that i will modify to make portable( giant casters) .

is that can lift up to 9feet or from bottom to top its 9feet?
i dont need a lift that can raise my car 7 feet off the ground just something basic that i can safetly drop the trans/rear/motor when needed with out using jack stands or cherry picker

This is what i bought, The posts are 9'3'' tall though. IT would be easy to cut a hole in sheet rock and put the top of the post in it.
The one in your first post would work great though. It will do everything a bigger lift will do except wont lift as high.

It is better to just do it. If you ask and they say no thats the end of that. Besides you only really putting 6 harmless holes into the ground.
