My $02..
+ Cheap.
- Will cause the bends to be "caved in. [out of round].
- No protractor to do accurate bending w/o constant bend/remove/check.
- Slo movement due to low volume of jack pump.

I'm spoiled.... I use the JD Squared hyd bender..NOT $300, but will last a lifetime..

The cheaper ones will kink the tubing like ^ said. If your not making drastic bends and do not do a bunch of fab, it will do. But like the saying goes, you get what you pay for

For the same price, you can get this one ...

http://www.vansantent.com/model_3_bender.htm

I've had one for 4 years and bent dozens of cages with it without a single issue.

Check craigslist, you might find a good one from a shop that's going out of business.

Default allstar bender

a piece of junk,, several venders out there using this die set and several others also,, dies crack, and not even close to the radius they advertise,, the 5" they claim is actually closer to 6 1/2,, the 7" is actually 8 1/2" a HUGE difference,, and to make a real 90 degree bend you have to walk the tube because it WILL kink the tube at the end of the die,, they are tooo short. a real die for 90 degrees must be 110 because of springback..
dont ask how i know !!!
also the benders by Afordable, Speedway, Ultra,, all use this type of die,, total junk !!

a good low cost bender JMR new Raceline,, works great, and low cost !!! what i ended up with after lots of research.
