Default Anyone make a good pair of safety wire pliers besides Tiger Wave?

I have THESE that I bought from Snap On last year, labeled with the Blue Point name. Anyway, they weren't working right (would intermittently switch left to right on it's own among other problems) when I got them, but after playing with them, I got them to work right and have used them for the last year.

I had a friend order the same pair a few weeks ago. His were broken right out of the box. He sent them back for a refund.

There are 3 guys in my class needing a good wire twister that don't want the Tiger Wave. Any other quality alternatives? The Matco man is coming by in a few weeks, and I noticed the student price on their Tiger Wave is only $47. Wish I had know about that deal last year.

After looking, I see the Tiger Wave label on the pliers from Mac, Matco, S-K and Snap On.

Search some aviation suppliers. Here is a pair from a company called Wag-Aero.

Google "aviation tools" will give you lots of choices.
