Question rear view mirror bulbs...

was going to change the lights in my car to all red and got to the rear view mirror lights i could not get the bulbs out with my fingers and i tried to get some needle nose pliers in there but i felt like i was going to break it... does anyone have any ideas about it or is there a special tool that i just dont know about?

If they aren't coming out and you are going to replace them anyways, give them a couple wraps of electrical tape and then grab with needle nose pliers. If they break, at least the pieces won't go everywhere.

Question i already tried

i tried that but it still felt like they were going to break im trying not to make them break but we'll see. any other suggestions???

I used a screw driver to pry them out. If you can get one end, it should just drop out. Didn't really have too much trouble with them. Be diligent in trying to find a good bulb though. I know the blue ones I use in my car would work for a couple weeks and then start to turn yellow from the heat and the color was lost. Not sure if they make LEDs for that but they would be ideal.
