Default anyone found some good deals on tool chest?

well im looking to get somthign a little bigger than my kennedy box.

im interested in somthing 44 wide or less. preferably less, just the normal single wide.

id bewilling to spend 700-800.

anyone seen any good deals recently? this is for home use so i dont need anything crazy.

someone mentioned this one withthe top also

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90320

i went by and looked at it today and its pretty big, the build looks decent for the size and price. the floor model was kind of beat up though so i may go back when its less crowded and see if they can show me a new one.

thats alot more storage than i need but it may be nice. alot of room to grow.

id be interested in the normal narrow tool chest also.

anyone see any good deals?

I just missed a hell of a deal at sams. It stood about 5.5ft tall, about 4ft wide, stainless steel, ball bearing drawers, huge casters and for only $600!!! I just didn't have the cash at the time. Still kicking myself

I have the one from harbor freight. No complaints here, the drawers are very smooth especially for the price. I have the top drawer full of sockets, extensions, and ratchets and it pulls out very easy. Only complaint i had was the wheels were a little uneven so it wobbled, but easily fixed by using washers as spacers on the wheels. I'm planning on buying the top box soon.

the one in the store wobbled also.

the only reason im leaning away from that one is i have built some shelves in the gerage and i wouldnt be able to open the top all the way. thats not that bad i guess.
plus ill have to find a new place for my air compressor.

i dont think it will cover my circut breaker box

its way more tool box than i need at the moment but i think it would be a good idea

your best bet is the ones from Sams Club. My store isnt selling the the 41 incher anymore just the smaller 31 inch wide model. If you look around you can contact the company and order directly I believe.

My buddy has both the 41incher and 31 inch model bolted together to make one big wall box. Looks really nice all polished up.

What's the brand name on the 41"er from sams. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it while they had it. But if I can get one direct from the vendor I'll do that. So if anyone knows the brand name, please post up!

My sams has the 41" back!!!! Only problem is I don't have any money!!! It's made by Steel Glide (as previously stated) and the model number is cptcfws0e. My sams is selling it for 667.34 (price will vary by area). This thing is super nice...especially for the price. Now all I have to do is find someone who needs some paint work done, or a motor swap, or anything to get up some money.

They are all NICE!!! I don't think they sell direct to the consumer. It looks like they only sell to retail stores.
