there's no such thing as a good cheap impact. cordless, pneumatic, doesn't matter. especially cordless impacts. I've used makita's 18v cordless impact, milawauke's, dewalts, and bosch's. in all honestly, the dewalt was nowhere near as good as the rest of them as far as power and the most powerful was the makita and milwauke.

I got the Dewalt 1/2" dw059 (I think) from Toolking (via Ebay). It is new, but only came with the tool itself and instructions. No case or battery. I have 18v batteries from my other tools, so that wasn't a problem.

It only ran me about $150. I've used it once on one of my tires, but that thing kicks !! I couldn't believe it broke the bolts loose. My electric crapsman impact couldn't do it, but this cordless one can.
