Default Dewalt Impact Gun DW057K

Too weak to break lug nuts loose?

Mostly interested in using it for taking wheels off and tightening up suspension parts.

137 ft lbs...as much power as a cheap air impact..you know, the ones that come free with the compressor or those 10 piece air toool sets.

I have the matco 1/2in,

http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/to...select=&page=7

Some times it will break a lugnut, sometimes not, it has a lot to do with if the wheels were torqued down right, but if you do all that yourself it should be fine.

yeah 137 Ftlbs isnt much but, it says it has over 1000 ftlbs breaking torque. You only need 100 ft-lbs to tighten a wheel anyways.

My dad got the 1/2" Dewalt gun for christmas. He had a blowout today actually and used the gun to break every one of the lugs loose.

I've always been a fan of Ingersoll Rand air tools and battery impacts. I own the 3/8" 1/2" battery guns 1/2 3/8 air guns... ratchets... love them.
