Post Counter? I have been well over the limit on posting and my account is still locked in a way that my posts aren't being counted except in the general sections...

It depends on which forums you are posting in...some forums have post counting disabled to prevent "post whoring."
Forums with disabled post-counting:
Introductions & Greetings
Signature Test Forum
Racer's Lounge
Multimedia Exchange
Street Racing & Kill Stories
All Classifieds Forums
All Regional Forums
Basically, if it isn't a technical forum, the posts do not count in it.

Oh okay, I remember reading a long long time ago that it was just for a limited time till you got to be apart of the site for a while that the post counter would work in all sections....thanks for clearing it up though...
