Moved from unrelated thread...

I'm not sure why these redirects are still happening for some users. There isn't anything I can personally do to correct this, but I can send a note to IB for another update on the status of this. Last I was told, it's affecting more than just LS1Tech and it's generally limited to a small percentage of users on any given site.

I will send them another note...

Sure looks like a lot of people are complaining. Not to mention the others who don't say anything because they just leave when redirected

Using this thread as the metric for the total number of users experiencing redirect ads is probably not the best way to go about it. I would bet many more users experience the issue and stay silent, or simply get so fed up they don't return.

It's an issue, one that goes largely ignored by IB.

Default Adds?

What's with all the adds on the mobile app? They take up more room on the screen than the threads I try to read.

Yeah, this happens 99% of the time I try to read it on the cellphone. Which sucks, because I'm trying to kill time between deliveries. lol

Haven't had the redirect problem in a few months, and mine wasn't isolated solely to this forum.

My redirects went away after clearing caches and cookies

The problem I have is the adds covering the screen. Then when you x them they say Google won't display that add anymore. The problem is now you have a white square in its place that don't go away. Very anoying.
