The "LS1Tech redesign" style is not a new style but has been the default style for some time (months if not a year).
The bad news is that any style that had less than .5% usage was removed, which the darkside was one of those themes. The reason behind this is being one of many parts involved in the developers doing a layout redesign.

I'd like to see the option return for members that want it, but I wouldn't suggest making it the default. I don't like it myself, and tend to avoid sites with such dark screens. But I agree that the option is nice for those that want to use it.

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong name, the skin I used and loved was black and white and its overall "light" output was higher than what you see now. It was nice, clean and modern looking. It may have been called black & white...can't remember, either way that's gone too.

I do agree that many users probably didn't even know the alternate skins existed, but now that they are already gone nobody can check them out to know whether or not they'd want to vote for them.

Bring back the DARK SIDE I would bet most users did not even know they could even change the "skin". So they just used the default. What is the big deal on keeping it anyway?
