Default Moving posts?

How do I pull up an old post and move it to referrence it to show someone what i was refereing to? Also if I reply how come it dosent pop back to the most recent thread? thanks

If you reply to an old thread it should show up at the top of the page.

And if you want to refer to an old thread in a current one, just post a link to it in the current thread... like here is a link to this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264484 (All you have to do is paste the address into your post, and the board software will automatically change it into a link.)
