How about placing thread started date under thread header next to user name?

they already list the last posted response....that typically has more effects on peoples searches. some threads get brought back from the dead and spark a debate that rages on for a while.

That is exactly the reason I would like to see the thread start date appear under the header.

Sometimes you read a thread that has been beat to death. A few weeks pass by and someone chimes in. Thinking that its a new thread, you open it, wait for pictures and other thing to load, and only to find that you have already read it and do not wish to read anymore. It may not stop you from opening it, but it will give you a little knowledge before you wait.
