Default Search is broken.

Yes, it's true. I tried to search for even LS1 and it came up with no matches.

funny.....i just searched for the term 'ls1' and it brought up results.

edit - search by individual forum, searching the entire database doesn't seem to want to play nicely. it will be quicker anyhow and is usually how the best results are found.

Its not broken ... If you search for too broad of a search term, the system ignores the word. Obviously LS1 will show up in likely over 1 million posts on the site, so the system will simply toss it out. You need to be specific, we only have just shy of 2.5 million posts on the system

Search isn't working for me either. I've tried specific stuff too, like usernames, "koni sa shocks", "qtp headers", etc. and it always says no matches. Please fix it.

Well, I don't know about all the other problems people're mentioning, but FYI, I think the database gets updated once a day around 5am, so your posts from this morning normally wouldn't show up in the results till the next day
