How does one become a Sponsor?

How does one become a Sponsor? I may have someone that might be interested in expanding into the LS1 engine building market. He builds mostly Outlaw engines and some pro drag engines, also a handful of LS1 engines.
From what I understand three drivers using his engines won different outlaw division championships this year, my father's being one of those. Also an outlaw motor of the year, I believe it was in 2000.
I will find out more of his engine history and update any errors if he's interested in becoming a Sponsor.
Please e-mail me any and all information on what's all involved in becoming a sponsor and I will pass the information on to him.
