Let me start with "Thanks for keeping the site up and running as well as y'all have!"

Unfortunately I have something not working like it used to.

I click on Search and select Advanced

I don't change any fields except username.

I enter my username in the "search for posts by" and all the results returned are from 4 days ago or older.

The search results seem like on the 14th of Novemeber I just stopped posting, which is not true.

I used to keep up on threads that I posted in by serching on my username, now I have to click into the specific area and read all the bold items and see if any jog my memory. Is rather annoying clicking into Automatic Transmissions, then Gears and Axles, then Handling and Braking, etc. just to see if anyone else has had further comments on a topic I contributed to

Am I doing something wrong, or did we break something 4 days ago?

The search server index fell behind. I gave it a kick in the pants last night, so its index is back up in sync with the main database server.

Brains - seems you need to beat on the index server again. Now it's stuck on the 22nd of November for my searches.

I am still not finding some of my older posts when I
search by keyword*username, ones I am damn sure
of the content.

Searching by your username as a keyword IS NOT the same as searching by your username via the Find more posts by this user feature.

username is username and keywords did not include
username but the returned results are coming up
short of what I know is there.
