I don't see any posts from you at all yesterday. Even if it was locked, moved, etc...we
(moderators) should still see it.

different threads are removed for different reasons. often times threads are just moved to other sections and folks don't look around.

That thread was locked & moved by a moderator. I see that one (even
though you can't). However, I don't see one at all about pricing of
your motor.

The bottom line I guess is that threads don't just "disappear". They are
locked and/or moved by moderators or admin when the deem it necessary.
Users who create a post initially also have the ability to delete a post.
So that would be another way for you to lose visability to it.

Hope that helps a little.

Actually, I've posted and been a part of threads from months and months ago that don't turn up anymore. Exact post names and threads searched by poster. I remember when the search and stuff was down and the site was really slow. I wonder if some stuff got lost in the transition?

Just fyi...if threads are locked and moved. Regular users will not be able to view
them via a search.

However, recently the search database apparently has been falling behind the live version of the site. As such, search won't yield the most recently posted threads/posts.
