Click a post / Starts half way down the thread

Click a post / Starts half way down the thread If you click on any particular subject thread, instead of the page loading at the top (1st post), many times when the page displays, it will be half way down the thread. Sometimes on the last post of the thread. Then you need to scroll up to the top to read the beginning post in the thread. What is causing this?
Never used to do that...

The new software automatically takes you to the first new reply in a thread since your last visit or it might be from the last time you clicked on that thread. I'm not sure which way it works yet but, that is the reason that happens.
If you look at the top of the first post that comes up when you click on a thread it is a blue color and a little icon says "new". Scroll up from that and the tops of the post are light grey. The post with the light grey tops are "old" post.
Test it out and see how it works because it's kinda hard to explain and I'm not sure how the software decides what replies you've seen yet either.

Jeeze.... Hey the new name is named after the old "Tin Indian" drag race team of the 60s. Indian for Pontiac. Of course they were made from "tin" Well, maybe not "tin", but you get the idea.
These were all Knafel Pontiac sponsored cars.
Maybe it is a little confusing if your not 105 years old like me!
Maybe I will change it to "Pattaya Beach" as in Thailand (my next destination)

Oh wait, Thailand. Your new name could be "Poodles and Mice" 
My Aunt was over there for a long time and saw a dog she wanted(it was alive ). They said OK and brought it back out to her chopped up and packaged.
