No joke, they definitely ask a premium for 'em. I've been asking around here though, and these guys wouldn't buy anything but now - they say for what you actually get (comparing hardware apples to apples) they really aren't any more expensive than any other "premium" laptop (like a Vaio or something).

I have to agree that my iMac is awesome. I was a PC nutswinger for along time, but after a few years with my current PC I ponied up and bought a 24" iMac and have never been more happy using a computer.
As a quick summary every stupid anoying problem I had with my PC I have NEVER had with my Mac. Just because it can't run certain programs does mean it is any worse than a PC. For most user, obviously those who do not use unsupported software, the ease of use and huge LACK of problems and spyware are worth it. Other things like browsers are just people reaching for excuses. IE sucks ***** worse than Safari and almost everyone I know uses Firefox anyways which is also available for OS X.
