Are we going to get the same crap that CF has?? There is a pop-up add in the first post if all of their threads. Are we destined for the same thing?? All of the threads that ask about it are locked or deleted. Will we get the same type of treatment or can we expect some answers??

I doubt it, but you never know.
LS1Tech has always been "leaner" than CF. The signature rules are strictly enforced here - size limits (150x500), no animated sigs, etc. That is one of the tenets that the site was founded upon - not to become bloated with sig pics or bandwidth wasting garbage. This bandwidth hog that CF has introduced would sure violate that principle here.
The admins at CF stated that they'd been looking to do something like that for a while - not really an Internet Brands action, but the admins of the forum. The admins here (Nine Ball and Pro Stock John) have given no indication of following that same path.
Things already get slow enough around here sometimes
we don't need more junk slowing things down even further.
