Default Problem posting pics

I put a [img], then URL, and end it with a [/img] and all that comes out is a box with an X in it. What am I doing wrong?

Can you post the path directly here so we can see it? Is the path to a valid image on a valid image host site or is it a local path on your computer? The image must be hosted on a valid image hosting site for it to be linked here. Also, the path must be to a publicly viewable image (in other words, not require a login to see it).

^ If you click on the link it says you have to log in to see it. Try hosting the image on imageshack. Once it is uploaded right click on the image. Click properies. Copy the URL where it says location. Then click the [IMG]image[/IMG] tags and paste the URL you copied in there.

EXAMPLE:

URL of location: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/8...inationmt1.jpg

Using image tags posts the picture:

Off site linking may not be allowed from some sites.

I click on that link to the F-quick page, and I get "you must be logged in to see this picture". I don't have an F-quick account, so I cannot see the picture.

I would bet that they do not allow off-site linking, in order to save on their bandwidth costs.
