Although you are sure to be flamed for this I can, somewhat, understand where your coming from.
But whether there is a "street racing" forum or not, the act itself will not stop just because there's no longer a place on LS-1 tech to post it.
Street racing has been around since people stated riding horse's, and I can tell you that it will be around long after you and I have turned to dust.
Best thing I can tell you is to avoid reading that paticular section if it bother's you that much.

i tend to agree with you...ive seen more tall tales, bs, and fights in there then anything else...if it wasnt for that forum unit213 would be considered a pretty good guy

as a side note id like to see the multi-media section get more attention...like to see more people take their cars to the track and post up vids...

you only can take so much of Neon this and civic that...or "will i win"

Does that mean that the Multimedia section also needs to be removed since
the many of the posts there are street racing related? What about the Lounge?
What about the newbie forums (General LSX automotive discussion & Newbie Tech)?
Threads stray off topic frequently in those forums. Perhaps we should omit them as well.
Here's a better idea...let's all just go back to LS1.chat and have IB shut down LS1Tech.

FWIW, I find it ironic at how someone with such little input and positive contributions
to LS1Tech feels it necessary to determine how it's run.

My suggestion would be simply to stay out of that section...which I told you previously
today...which I'm sure is the reason for this post.

Again, if you use LS1Tech as a "place of information" stay out of the
non-tech related sections as opposed to trying to get them removed from a highly successful website. Pretty simple to me.

It's like TV or radio. You have the right to turn the channel or shut
it off. Don't click here:

Notice the thread and post count below? That means that some people
actually enjoy the street racing section. Contrary to popular belief, this
site was popular and successful prior to you becoming a member. That goes
for me to of course...all 2 months of it.

Really? Maybe you should read the rules of the street racing section then:

What facts? You've stated opinion only.

Really? You're obviously not from Texas then and you don't frequent

Of course they did. I saw this coming a mile away.

I thought you said that "this thread is not directly related to earlier posts"
...so why would there be a "motive"?

Looking for more information I presume?

$20 says you're looking for some examples.

Just because LS1Tech has a section where people can talk about street racing, doesn't mean they condone it. Im sure when the forum was created, the possible legal ramifications were discussed and it was concluded there weren't any.

Alot of people don't like street racing, but that doesn't mean it's going to stop. And since those people don't like street racing they should stay out of that forum.

I dont like fish or seafood, but does that mean people should stop cooking and selling it? No. Am I going to tell Red Lobster they have to close because I don't like seafood? No. I just don't go to seafood places. The people that like seafood are happy, and so am I since i'm not there.

Of course they were. You got your pee pee smacked, you got "disheartened", and
this thread was your way of retaliating.

Your post history is full of interesting things regarding the street racing section.

^You got me there^
This wasn't nearly as entertaining as I had hoped it would be. UNIT sort of ruined that for me . I have had my fill of self Hypocrisy for a while. This wasn't really a way to retaliate, just a means of entertainment and a way to stir the pot. Oh well, funs over, nothing to see here. You can catch me in the kill section. Nice doing business with you UNIT, I hope to see you there. Drive home safely everyone.

FWIW, if you take anything I've said as what I personally believe then you don't know me very well. You just need to look at my previous posts to see that.

I do appreciate your time and actual evaluation of my thread, though I think you might have misunderstood me in some points.
I must admit that I find the kill section entertaining from time to time though, for arguments such as these. It's a shame I rarely get to carry out anything at this level. I guess you found me out.
As for your facts response; the "facts" themselves were my main issues, not whether the issues were factual or not. Of course my issues are solely personal
Well, it's been lots of fun. I guess this thread can be locked now, I'm going back to the kill section to force my views on people.

man, it looks like the trolls got to you noob,
its like under a bridge down there, all kinds of mustang mod motor and s/c cobra motor gurus, along with the ricers.
post a thread about you bitch slapping a 03-04 cobra and watch the trolls come out of the woodwork, but post a video of u actually doing it and u will still get flamed because the cobra is only xxxrwhp, or still has stock motor, etc. etc.
if only the s/c mod motor gurus down there would post in the FI with all of there vast KB knowledge, we would all benefit im sure
but its not gonna happen
