Stupid question (and a free bump!) but what kind of gas mileage do you get on that thing with the 8.1L?

I'm also curious about this... That is a gigantic engine lol.

I would guess around 10 mpg? Free bump for a gorgeous truck that I would honestly consider trading my car for if it didn't get such low mileage lol.

Curious about the mileage as well.

My uncle is looking to upgrade his 91 silverado with the old 454, 7.4L and he gets 10 in the city, 12 on the highway. I assume that thing is about the same?

I'm assuming 2wd since there are no 4x4 stickers on the bed?

Eh, I was hoping for something a little better as far as mileage goes, if it is only 10ish. I did not want much less than say 18ish mpg hwy, maybe 14-15mpg city.

It would be my daily driver and my commute is short but I dont want to break the bank on gas =(

I will have exact stats after I finish the current tank. I've never measured it precisely but have guesstimated 13 mpg before. I don't expect any better. I don't daily drive it only use it on weekends to drive my kid to the gym. My wife and i are buying a boat at some point and you have to pay to play. I was planning on selling this truck and try to figure out if our Titan will pull the boat adequately.

Averaged 12 mpgs....not very good but was not expecting very good. Took a while to go through a tank LOL. Don't drive it much.
