Default 455whp 10-second 1995 Pontiac Trans Am, fully loaded - $8600 - REDUCED

Year: 1995
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $8600
Mileage: 2000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NJ
Color: Green
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

PRICE REDUCED - $8600

Not sure why the topic title isn't changing. Oh well.

Welp, it's for sale. First $8600 takes it. Over 25k invested.

Car is a 1995 Pontiac T/A, green, WS6 ram air hood and airbox. Has some cosmetic blemishes, but nothing major. This has been my baby for the past 11 years, and it's time to move on. Car weighs 3340# in race trim!

Here's the complete list on the engine alone. Motor has approx. 2000 miles on the following NEW parts:

Factory 4-bolt block, modified oil galleys, zero-decked
Ohio Crank 3.75" forged crankshaft, 1 piece RMS
All Clevite H-series bearings
Scat 6" forged I-beam rods
SRP -5cc forged flat-top pistons, Total Seal rings
Canton 242T oil pan
Melling 10552 Select oil pump, high volume/high pressure
Cometic .035" head gaskets, 12.8:1 static compression
Advanced Induction 200cc ported stock castings with beehive springs, 7/16" rocker studs, Trickflow guideplates, PAC 1218 beehive springs, Trickflow chromoly pushrods, LS7 lifters, Crane Gold NSA 1.6 rockers
Advanced Induction billet core custom grind stroker cam, 237/242, .604"/.598", 108 LS.
Cloyes 3145 double roller timing chain
CSI electric water pump, 160 thermostat
Advanced Induction street ported LT1 intake manifold, powdercoated green flake, EGR blocked/deleted
Holley 58mm throttle body
Stock MAF, WS6 airbox
Polished smoothie valve covers
Lucas flow-matched 42# injectors, OEM rails, OEM fuel pressure regulator, Racetronix hotwire pump kit + Walbro 255lph pump
Delphi optispark (about 10k miles)
MSD 8.5mm wires with TR55 plugs.
LPP stainless long tubes

Pretty sure that's it on the motor...I'm probably forgetting something, but it made 455whp through a 4L60E, 4000 stall, and a Ford 9" with 3.90 gears.

The mods on the rest of the car? Phew...here goes:

Front suspension:
UMI K-member
UMI tubular non-adjustable upper control arms
UMI tubular adjustable lower control arms
QA1 front springs, single adjustable
275# drag springs
Front swaybar and front bumper support removed

Rear suspension:

Comp Engineering 3-way adjustable shocks
Wolfe solid rear sway bar, adjustable
Spohn HD torque arm
BMR adjustable panhard rod
BMR boxed non-adjustable LCAs with LCA relocation brackets

Chassis:
Wolfe 6-point weld-in cage, mild steel
BMR boxed SFCs, weld in

Exhaust:
LPP stainless long tubes/y-pipe, Quicktime electric cutout, Hooker Aerochamber cat-back

Drivetrain:
Performabuilt Level 2 transmission, 4000 stall, B&M Supercooler
Denny's Driveshaft nitrous-ready chromoly shaft, 1350 yokes
Moser 9" housing, GM Motive 3.90 gears, narrowed 1.5" each side, 33 spline axles, 5x4.5" bolt pattern

Brakes:
Fronts - OEM, Hawk HPS pads, Brembo blanks, SLP line lock
Rears - Wilwood Dynalite kit
SJM ABS delete kit

Misc:
Stroud 5-pt harness
WS6 ram air hood, factory airbox
Walbro 255 pump, Racetronix hotwire kit
!AC, !cruise control, !AIR

Wheels/Tires:
Weld Pro Stars front, 15x3.5", Kumhos, 15x10 rear, 295 MT drag radials

I am in no rush to sell the car and the price is pretty firm being that it's reasonable as it is. There are more pics/videos listed in my signature if you're interested. Feel free to PM me or email me at jspena@gmail.com if you'd like more details/pics.

Thanks robs.

I am looking to get into the C6 or C5 Z06 scene. The T/A was a 10 year project - it's time for the next. I've certainly had my memories, that's for sure.

Probably better to part it out, I cant see 10.5 for an LT car but it is badass no doubt and i know you invested a ton of time and money. Good luck with the sale. A good buy for a true LT guy no doubt.

Unfortunately no, but the A/C evaporator and heater box were not deleted. Just add a condenser, dryer, compressor, lines and you're good to go.

If you part it, how much would you be looking for for the engine? (don't need headers or trans/converter)

Right now I have a standing offer of $6500 for the motor. If you can beat that...

Can't bear the thought of this car being parted. Regardless, Joe, you'd better not disappear on us. And I will be lurking, watching your next build in the LSX realm. I'm trying to sell my current project and build an LSX-based truck in the next year or two... I'll need to watch someone who knows what he's doing.
