This car is absolutely immaculate. The interior, exterior and mechanical condition of this car are second to none. I have receipts going back many years, which show a lifetime of careful maintenance and tasteful modification. The timing belt and water pump have been replaced recently. No expense has been spared on this car and it shows.

I am the third owner of the car. I purchased it as a fun, summer toy and I've enjoyed it immensely in the time I've owned it. It runs great and everything works; the power windows, locks, top...everything is exactly as it was when the car was on the showroom floor 20 years ago for $52,000.

I am selling because I miss my CTS-V and the pricing on them is becoming too attractive to ignore. I am not in any hurry to sell the Porsche, it's a blast to drive and if it doesn't sell by this fall, I will LS swap it this winter using the Texas Performance Center kit.

For more details it's easiest to call me @ two zero 7 six 1 five two 3 zero 2 or email me at (delete the slashes) patrick/murray/86/@/yahoo./com

I will entertain reasonable offers, but please don't waste my time with a lowball offer. I've seen several of these sell in the $10-15k range in the last few months and all of them had significantly higher mileage and/or were not as pristine as this one.

Trades of equal or greater value will definitely be considered, particularly C5s, GTOs, CTS-Vs, Mustangs or F-bodies. I am not looking for a truck, SUV, race car or anything with an automatic (unless its a Sierra Denali or AMG Mercedes)

Thanks for looking!

Bump.

Took the car to dinner tonight, parked and then spent 10 minutes answering questions about it from several people at the restaurant. It gets a lot of attention!

Also, I recently drove one of these with an LT1 and it was absolutely insane. This car would make an incredible starting point for an LT/LS build!

bump!

If you want to see some examples of what this car could become, check out www.944hybrids.com and take a peek at some of the LT and LS beasts that people have created. I'd be happy to help arrange shipping to Texas Performance Concepts or anywhere else the buyer chooses.

The car has been stored outside for the last week and it's got some waterspots from a rain shower we had. I will include a $100 gift certificate to Driven Perfection detailing in Mass, or any other detail shop of the buyers choosing.

Additionally, I will paypal $100 to anyone who refers a buyer to me, so even if you're not interested, please tell your friends

I am very interested in trading for a clean, stock Camaro SS (must be a 6 speed, prefer pewter in color with T tops) or a 99+ Mustang GT or Cobra. Equal value cars or cash on your end please!

bump

I took the car for a 250 mile cruise this weekend, in 90+ degree weather, with several triple digit blasts, the Porsche never missed a beat. When we stopped for lunch only my friends orange Gallardo got more attention. People were pushing past $100K cars to get a closer look at my 20 year old 944!

The car is now JUST past the 80k mark.

If my asking price is met, I will include the basic LS1 swap kit from Texas Performance Concepts.

Again, I am also offering $100 to anyone who sends a buyer my way.

I need to move this ASAP.

bump.

I know that the crowd here is mostly comprised of V8 enthusiasts. It's worth noting, one of these 3 liter engines with higher mileage than mine just sold for $2k. You could easily buy this car and LS swap it for well under $15k total investment.

I need to sell this ASAP!

All offers will be strongly considered. I turned down $9k cash the other day, but keep in mind the price listed up top IS negotiable.
