Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): SC
Color: Orange
Transmission: Manual

SOLD FOR $13,000

Mildly entertaining selling my baby. I rarely drive it anymore, and it's becoming more of a pain than a pleasure to have. I don't have to sell it, I've just been back and forth several times over the past few years. Anyway, about the car.

1999 Hugger Orange SS, M6, Ttop, Gray Leather Interior

The mods are from memory, I may be leaving out a few things, but the car is covered and the list is inside and I'm lazy right now.

Engine Mods:
TRak Cam
Comp 921's
FAST 90 MM Intake/90 MM TB
ATI Damper
LS6 Oil Pump

Exhaust Mods:
Pacesetter Longtube Headers
Catless Y-Pipe
Electronic Cutout in the I-pipe
Stock SS Exhaust with B&B Tri Flow Tips

Drivetrain Mods:
Textralia OZ700 Clutch
Some type of upgraded rear differential cover, silver in color with pre-loading screws.

Suspension Mods:
BMR Front and Rear Sway Bars (Hugger Orange)
BMR Adj. Torque Arm (Hugger Orange)
Tubular Rear Control Arms
BMR Bolt in Control Arm Brackets (Hugger Orange)
BMR Fixed Panhard Bar (Hugger Orange)
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs

Appearance Mods:
Gloss Black Rear Panel
Orange and Silver Brake Calipers
Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors
Chrome 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1s w/ SS Logo w/ BFG KD's F 275's/R 315's
Custom Painted Black and Hugger Orange SS Grill with Stainless Wire Mesh
Chrome SS Hood Vent Insert
Dark Window Tint (not sure of percentage, but its not legal)

Misc. Mods:
Wire Mod
Painted Valve Covers (Gloss Black)
Painted Coil Packs (Hugger Orange)
Pro 5.0 Shifter
Lous Short Shift Stick
C6 Shift ****
Custom Painted Interior Dash Panels (Silver)
Silver SS Gauge Overlay
Billet"SS" Engraved Pedals
Harlan Shift Light Located in the Drivers Side Circular Window Vent
Dual Gauge Pod with Oil Temp. and A/F Ratio Gauges (Silver Gauge Face)
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Some type of upgraded fuel injectors
JL 10' Sub with Stealth Box
250 Watt Amp?

Car has won several awards at car shows for best appearance, paint, engine bay etc. I'd say the paint is a 9 along with the interior. It dynoed 430/393 I believe several years ago. It has been tuned by my buddy WS6FirebirdTA00 and is on an open loop tune. I have an 85mm MAF that I can have put on and re-tuned. The mileage is 131,xxx. The valvetrain probably has a total of 15k on it. Car runs very well and has no problems at all except for a small oil leak coming from the oil pan. Its sat for 6 months before and there was no indication from the dipstick that the oil was low. I will try and get some recent pics this weekend, however, here is a link to two that were taken several years ago at Autofair. The car still looks the same.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/what-worth/1506481-modded-99-hoss.html

I am asking $14,500 and the car is located in N. Myrtle Beach, SC. You can contact me via PM on here, but I would prefer contact through my email which is

ben.conner.cga@gmail.com

Thanks for looking

That's the good thing about not needing to sell it I guess.

you will be self bumping this one a lot..... it truly is a good thing you don't have to sell it... 130 k on short block? oil leak? stock ten bolt? stock trans? get some pics up. I'm sure the car is nice but if you could make this car affordable you will sell it... GLWS.

I uploaded pics, for some reason they are all red x's. 10 bolt is not the original one in the car. The housing is one off of an 01 Z, it probably has 30,000 miles on it. I've changed carriers three times along with new axles and several new gear sets. Oil leak is coming from the last time we dropped the oil pan to install the oil pump. Its nothing at all really. Lower end of the motor hasn't been touched, nor has the transmission, so they do have some miles on them. However, you will have a hard time finding a car that's been taken care of this well.

Yea, I'll hold onto it if I have to go that low. It's paid off, and not costing me anything. If someone offers me something that catches my eye, then I'll let her go. No big deal.

I can almost guarantee you wont find a car close to this one for 8500. IMO the price is a little high but its really not that far off. but thats the nice thing about not having to sell because their is someone out their that will buy it.

Thanks. I don't know how often these cars come up for sale, but if someone loves the color of the car like I do, I'd think they'd pay for it, I know I would.

Talk about random finds. I haven't seen this car in at least a year or two, but I do know when I saw Ben regularly the car was meticulously maintained (wiped down after every spin). Being completely honest I never would've guessed it had half that many miles on it.

On another note, when the F did you move to MB? When I come down for F-Body week this year you better come out.

Bump for yah old friend.

Thanks Travis. I've been here for over a year now. Give me a call when you make it down. Car sits still with a cover on it for the most part. I've got a newborn now, so my free time is limited. If I can make it out though, I will.

For all the naysayers saying it was priced way to high. Car has been sold for $13,000. Figured I would update in case someone wanted to use this to gauge what their car may be worth.
