Default FS: 2002 C5 Z06 - Track/AutoX Car - Houston TX

Year: 2002
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $21000
Mileage: 89000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I am listing for sale my 2002 Z06 with ~89,000 miles. I'll probably regret this a week after selling but here goes:

I am asking $21,000 OBO. This price is negotiable. If it seems steep - keep reading. If it still seems steep and you are actually interested, do not hesitate to email/text/call me with a reasonable offer.

The car has been outfitted pretty thoroughly for track use (no roll-cage) with high-quality parts and has always been well maintained in that aspect. I have never skimped on maintenance, fluid types, or any care otherwise taken with the car mechanically. The miles are a bit high, but for ~3 years it was also my daily driver.

It is currently located in the Heights area of Houston, TX. I have a trailer and can deliver it within a relatively local distance. At its current ride height (which is adjustable on 'drop bolts') I would not recommend driving it on anything but a known smooth street.

The car includes a binder full of receipts that tally up to an intimidating amount, and has also had a bit of maintance work done (door control modules, replaced weatherstripping, etc) in its recent history. The paint is probably the only downside to the car, as the clearcoat has been showing slight wear around the edges/near badges.

Currently it has some Recaro SPG seats installed, which I will be willing to throw in (with very fresh Schroth harnesses) for $2,000 extra. I am not looking to sell the seats, but if you are looking for a car to buy and immediately take to the track, we can work something out. Otherwise, the Recaros and harnesses are not included. OEM seats in great condition are included, as are seat rails from Hardbar and a Brey-Krause harness bar. The car has full HVAC functions as well as working stereo and full interior carpet/headliner. Also included is a spare driver's-side door card.

The car is very capable, and very quick in the right hands. It is not uncommon for me to pass 500hp C6 Z06's on Hoosiers during track days (obviously this is very driver-based) - keep in mind this car is on NT05 street tires. The best times I've personally seen have been a 1'25.9 at MSR Cresson (1.7 mile, CCW) and 1'45.4 at MSR Houston (2.8 mile, CW).

Just because an inquiring party asked and I did not cover this, the title is CLEAN.

I can provide VIN for Carfax.
