That is a BIG turbo for a stock engine. A 6262 would have been a better combination, and even then some head work would be recommended. GLWS.

well actually it has head work done + good springs, and some other things im sure i forget to mention..but the 6262 wouldnt make a difference and this actually spools pretty quick with the vigilante its dbb so after it goes passed 8lbs it seems i lay the needle wherever i wanted to go.., im sure it'll run 10 99 - 11-30s maybe lower ofcourse on race gas this debate about turbos has been on tb for along time, rather not have it here. im aka (87chrisss)

I know you from TB.com. My username is the same on both boards. The turbo will run those times no problem. Heck, that is a 9 second turbo. Put an engine underneath it, and boom you have a 9second car haha.

I have nailed a couple cars. Mustang Mach1, Merc CL55 AMG, and a 5th Gen Camaro. The trans took a crap on me, so now I am just waiting to throw a built trans from Dave H. Once the trans is in, I am going to play a little more with tune and hopefully run it at the track for some mid to low 11's.

Nice car. I thought the designer series was two tone paint? How old is the repaint and what times have you run with this setup and how much boost? Also you said it has headwork. Who did the heads and is it stock cam?

Thanks
