LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hello all,

For sale is our 2006 Saleen Mustang S281 S/C #853. We are selling in order to fund another project (single turbo conversion on the 335i).

The car has approximately 13,500 miles, and has ~6000 miles on the motor. And has been FANTASTIC since the build.

I bought the car at ~7000 miles, and the engine had a nice rod knock noise going. I drove the car politely, but nonetheless the engine blew about 1000 miles later.

I replaced the engine with a stroked 4.6l (out to a 5.0) from Brenspeed, which used the Saleen 302 forged rotating assembly (pistons still stamped Saleen). This was marketed as the B302 (http://site.brenspeed.com/b302/B302.pdf). I bought one of the first packages, and they have since run out of the leftover Saleen kits and are using other pieces.

I have made up a PDF with the pertinents about the car, and some pictures, and that can be found here (13mb): https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BwY...WYybE8tNDN3Um8

It was made a bit ago, so the mileage information won't be accurate, but I am updating it soon.

The summary is:

Saleen Mustang #853
Forged Stroker and everything on the top end replaced, or rebuilt (heads), even if no damage was visible to ensure metal particles didn't travel.
Runs at 12-13psi, making ~500 at the wheels.
5-speed manual.
3.55 Maxgrip rear.
GT500 dual fuel pump setup.
Saleen Extreme intake (good to flow ~900hp).
McLeod clutch disc.
Full Saleen suspension package/interior/etc.
Shaker 1000 audio.
Saleen Extreme cooling package (fluidyne radiator).

Runs great, can get over 20mpg, idles like stock, has zero issues or needs. Interior is perfect, exterior perfect except a few chips, and two scrapes on the bottom of the front bumper from being loaded incorrectly onto a flatbed.

Will pass Oregon DEQ without any changes.

Makes a great 500whp daily driver, or fun weekend car. Engine is good, per Brenspeeds word, to 800-900hp. I know many on here are used to more power, and all this needs is injectors, pulley swap, and a tune to make more power. I'll be including the SCT tuner with stock and aftermarket maps as well.

Please see the PDF for more information and pictures.

Email or post with questions. If you have a lot, PM me and I'll give you my number.

It is, but there are many non-LS for sale ads up. FWIW after my student loans are paid off I'm looking to get back into another LS-vehicle .

That said, if the mods don't want it here I'll happily take it down.
