Default 2003 Corvette Z06 w/ Cammed LS2 **$21,500**

Year: 2003
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $21500
Mileage: 55000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): OH
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Up for sale is my 2003 Z06 with 55k miles. The car is in great shape and has black leather interior. I am the 2nd owner (bought from 770guy on here). The car runs flawlessly, I would not hesitate to drive the car cross country and it gets 28 mpg on the highway with the ac on. The reason I'm selling is I really don't get the use out of the car to justify keeping it. My priorites are changing and I'm not as interested in cars as I use to be.

A little history on the car since I've owned it. I bought the car in March of 2011 with 48k miles. I had the car for a month and the oil pump went out and a lifter started to develop a tick. At that time I put a melling high flow oil pump, comp oe lifters, vrx5 cam, new head/exhaust/water pump gaskets, arp head bolts, timing chain, etc. The car was dyno tuned by Tracey at Cincyspeed after the previous mods (in Cincinnati, Oh) and put down 423/420. I've made about 10 passes at the track and ran an 11.4 @ 124.

Mods:
2005 LS2 Engine
LS6 intake with 90mm throttle body
Vararam Intake
ASP Underdrive pulley
Melling high flow oil pump
VRX5 cam (236/238 .601/.605 113)
Comp 26926 dual valvespring kit with seats/seals/retainers
Hardened pushrods
Comp OE high performance lifters
Kooks longtube headers w/x-pipe on stock titanium mufflers
LS7 clutch w/ speed bleeder
RPM level IV T56 Transmission
Firestone Wide Oval (stock sizes) with around 10k miles

Fresh Amsoil engine oil/transmission fluid/rear diff fluid

I will try to get a video up tomorrow or Sunday. I'll get the gages so you can see the oil pressure and do a walk around. It sounds great, nice lopey idle but not crazy loud with the stock titanium mufflers.

Tracey does good work, he built the LS2 that went into my 00 WS6 a few years ago. The new owner has run the car in the 1/8 mile with a best of 7.52.

Looks like you have a nice vett, good luck with the sale.

Thanks man the car is pretty much what I am looking for, is there any details that I may want to know before I ask to come look at it? I'd be coming from Indy which a little drive.. o and what did you mean by "previous mods "?

There's not really anything I can think of, I will pm you if I think of anything....And by "previous mods" I mean that it was dyno'd after the VRX5 cam swap, there have been no changes since then. Thanks again!

Thanks man, yea Tracey def knows his LSX stuff and is a great "tuner." Would def recommend him/Cincyspeed to anyone around Cincy needing some work/tune.

Added an idle vid to the original post, you may have to click the youtube link on the video if your having trouble playing it. I'll have to check, but the motor has 25-30k on it. Bump it up! Getting some interest, but nothing firm yet.

This car prior to Back owning it was garage kept for its entire life. If it was in the garage it was covered. It is a great car and I am sure someone will be very happy with it.
